Alison Kemsley
Solicitor and Consultant
Alison trained in a central London firm and joined this firm in 1992 as an associate solicitor before becoming a partner in 1996 and is now a consultant.
She undertakes both non-contentious and contentious work which provides her with an interesting mix. Alison is head of the private client department dealing with all aspects of estate administration, court of protection work including deputyship, wills and powers of attorney. She has dealt with many complicated estates involving foreign jurisdictions.
Alison has been appointed as a Deputy by the Court of Protection on numerous occasions to safeguard the financial affairs of vulnerable people and has good working relationships with local care agencies and care teams.
Alison is an accredited member of lifetime lawyers (previously known as Soliciors for the Elderly), an organisation of lawyers offering specialist legal advice for older or vulnerable people, their families and carers.
Tara Pitts
Solicitor
Tara became a trainee solicitor with this firm after working for a central London firm. Qualifying in 2002, she quickly established herself as an important part of the firm’s private client department specialising particularly in matters affecting older clients and has a loyal following.

Teresa Lau
Solicitor
Teresa joined this firm in 2009 having trained as a solicitor with a law firm based in London’s China Town district. She is fluent in Cantonese and has a large client base within the Chinese community both locally and further afield.
She is an experienced commercial property lawyer dealing with all aspects of commercial property sales, purchases and leases. Many of her clients return to her time and again for her assistance in their business property affairs.
In addition to her commercial property work Teresa also undertakes residential conveyancing and assists in maintaining the high standards required for accreditation under the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme which is a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices.
Ayesha Bowers
Solicitor
Ayesha has worked in the legal sector since 2017, both in high street and city firms.
Ayesha completed her training at Chancellors Lea Brewer’s sister firm, Aletta Shaw Solicitors, and qualified in the Private Client department in April 2024.
Ayesha undertakes a variety of Private Client work including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate.
Ayesha has also recently become a Lifetime Lawyers member, (previously known as Solicitors for the Elderly), an organisation of lawyers offering specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.
Outside of work Ayesha enjoys travelling, reading, going to the gym and spending time with her friends, family and cat and dog, Casper and Teddy.
